Delete your fock account
You can delete your fock account and the data tied to it at any time. Here's how — and exactly what happens when you do.
Deleting your account is permanent. It can't be undone, and your items, messages, and profile can't be recovered afterward.
The fastest way — delete it in the app
- Open the fock app and make sure you're signed in.
- Go to Settings (from the menu).
- Tap Delete my account.
- Confirm it's you with a quick phone verification, then tap Delete my account to confirm.
Your account is deleted right away and you're signed out. That's it — you're forgotten.
Can't get into the app?
If you've uninstalled fock, lost access to your phone number, or just can't reach the Settings screen, email us and we'll delete your account for you:
- Send the request from — or include — the phone number you used to sign up, so we can find your account.
- We'll verify you own the account before deleting anything.
- Once verified, we delete your account and data using the same process as the in-app button.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we remove:
- Your profile — your name, photo, bio, the phone number linked to your account, and any location data stored
- Every item you listed, and the photos you uploaded
- Your invites and connections
- Your messages — removed from your account. (Messages you sent still appear in the other person's chat, but with your identity stripped — you show up only as a deleted member, never your name or number.)
What we keep, and why
To run fock safely and honestly, a small amount of information stays behind — none of it your profile or contact details:
- Anonymous, aggregate statistics (like total sign-ups) that don't identify you
- Safety records — if you were reported or banned for abuse, we keep that so a ban can't be erased by deleting and re-joining
- A plain record that a deletion happened, without your personal details, for our own accountability
How long it takes
- Your access ends immediately — you're signed out and your account can no longer be used.
- Your data is deleted from our live systems right away.
- Routine backups are rotated out within 30 days, after which no copy remains.
